March 2009-Fusion is granted $64,040 from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to support the newly developed Youth Entrepreneurship Partnerships (YEP) Program
March 2010-The YEP program grant is renewed for a second year in the amount of $64,100. This additional funding extended the grant for an additional year and made use of Fusion’s social enterprises to introduce youth to the world of small business and educate them about the impact of socially-aware business ventures. November 2010-The Fusion Youth Centre submitted an application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Future Fund to sustain the program. This was a collaborative application between the Fusion Youth Centre and Community Employment Services.
March 2011- The YEP program officially ended.
April 2011- The Fusion Youth Centre was awarded a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Future Fund in the amount of $606, 300 over a four year period. This allows the program to continue to focus on an entrepreneurial spirit while expanding the reach of the program to include employment and career development skills.
