Become a Business Mentor

We are currently in the process of searching for Business Mentors. This process would see YEPP match our youth with a business mentor in their area of interest. A mentorship program would consist of having one of our youth job shadow you at your place of employment for one hour per week for a minimum of four weeks, although we are flexible to work with you and your business in making arrangements that would be suitable for you. This would give our youth the opportunity to spend some time in a real working environment and give them some insight into the roles and responsibilities of their mentors, you! As a mentor, you will be provided with training and full WSIB coverage to protect your business. Most importantly, however, is the fact that you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the future goals of our local youth. We hope that their participation within the business mentorship program will help youth to begin building their resume, develop their skills and lead to future employment within our community.
